Covid-19 has severely impacted the economy so the government is keen that the recovery will be driven by the installation of huge numbers of clean green technologies. Not only will this create thousands of high quality jobs but will also reduce our carbon emissions to meet our international agreements. For these reasons the government is prepared to offer financial incentives to help you do your bit for the UK and our environment (you’ll save on your bills too)!
Get up to £12,000 Government cash-back for installing an RHI approved system
Air Source Heatpumps and Solar Heating are the future for heating our homes and the Government wants to get as many installed as possible.
What is it?
The Domestic Renewable Heat Incentive (Domestic RHI) is a UK Government financial incentive to promote the use of renewable heat. Switching to heating systems, such as a heat pump, that use natural energy can help the UK reduce its carbon emissions. If you install an eligible heating system from Phuse, you can receive index-linked quarterly payments for seven years for the amount of clean, green renewable heat the system produces.
How does it work?
Firstly, you have to have installed a new eligible heating system by approved companies such as Phuse. Once up and running you apply to Ofgem who administer the scheme and commit to complying with the scheme rules. The amount paid is based on the heating energy consumption of your home shown on its Energy Performance Certificate (EPC), we can arrange for one for you if required.
How does this benefit me?
You can receive a brand new efficient, low maintenance and low-carbon heating system to replace your existing boiler at very low (or even no) overall cost. We can even arrange finance to spread the upfront cost.
Even when the RHI payments end after 7 years, your running costs could remain lower than if you had kept your existing system.
